Welcome?!

Hello all! Welcome to my blog. If you’re here for stories that don’t always make sense and an inability to use commas correctly you’re in the right place:) In (some) seriousness though, I like sharing my stories, experiences, and adventures. More specifically I’m very addicted to rock climbing and am actively trying to plan a cross country roadtrip to hit up various climbing and hiking spots across the US, all while car camping for the very first time.

I just graduated with my masters and now that I have time to breathe (and since I haven’t been able to secure a full time job quite yet oof:p) I’ve realized it’s the perfect time to go on one of those adventures that I am always wanting to do. Only this time it’ll actually happen (I’m hoping).

In the past I’ve done many camping trips to the Red River Gorge, New River Gorge, and Rumney, but basically no where else and I’ve always wanted to get on some rocks out west>:)

I’ve now planned out my route and have started making lists with what gear and supplies I might need. I’m planning on doing most of the trip alone (mostly because I don’t think anyone I know has the time) and that for sure scares me. Another concern? How am I gonna climb with just myself. Answer? Idk honestly. I’ll have to meet people at crags and be social I guess. That kind of terrifies me (me being someone who’s never been good at going up and starting conversations with strangers). Really I’m fully banking on my desire to climb to win out over my fear of social interactions:) (I refuse to boulder absolutely not pls no I’ve sprained my ankle 3 times bouldering and yes I should learn how to fall better but no I’ll stick to lead climbing thank you very much). And in the movie of my life this would be the big life changing thing of me busting out of my little shell. But we’ll see.

So yeahhhh, I’m currently working through figuring out all the details still.

Besides all that, I’m an aspiring video editor. I’m freshly addicted to my kindle now that I’ve finally gotten on Libby. In my last semester of school I took a black & white photography class and fell in love with that (so don’t be surprised when various photos start popping up). I have three younger siblings and everyone is currently living at home for the summer so things are LOUD and CHAOTIC, as they should be. We’re literally like a built in friend group who are also the people capable of making each other the most mad we could possibly be (that was worded weirdly but if you have siblings you probably understand). We play a lot of board games and card games, with the top choice lately being mtg (commander). I currently play a Daxos the Returned deck. It’s my brothers deck but I’ve been begging him to remake my old Kambal, Consul of Allocation deck. I finally let him change it from Kambal on the condition that he would change it back as soon as I wanted him to but then he BETRAYED ME and is not changing it back>:(
